Kerry Larson
Kerry Larson joined MTS in December 2009 with lifelong experience as a support professional in her career, as a volunteer, and especially in caring for her family. Her career began in Chicago as both Customer Support and Application Support Representative for computer vendors. When Kerry started her family, she volunteered at her two daughters' schools and at church. An active supporter of the arts, her daughters play piano, clarinet, guitar, and steel drums. Most recently, Kerry coordinated the Music Boosters at Clark Montessori High School. During the time she's cared for her family, Kerry provided medical records transcription, word processing, database design, desktop publishing, and mass mailing services. Her recent freelance project has been to scan paper medical records into electronic medical records.
Ms. Larson says of joining Music Therapy Services, "It is a privilege to be a part of a team who see the worth and dignity in each person and who strive to connect in a way that is joyful and profound."
